With the financial support from ArcticNet - Université Laval, Carleton University and Inuit Quajisarvingat: Inuit Knowldge Centre (the research centre at Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami) have been working collaboratively to develop Tukitaarvik Inuit Student Centre webstite. Tukitaarvik is a post-secondary information, resources and connections space for Inuit.

This website is here to help guide you along the path to a post-secondary education. We hope this will help you explore your options and discover a post-secondary opportunity that will fit your unique skills and interests.

This website will explain the application process and break down the challenges you may face. They can range from financial to emotional, and there aren’t always easy answers. How do you find a school? How do you get there? How do you pass your exams? We will do our best to answer the questions you have, both big and small.

We’ll link you to alumni and both prospective and current students who are at varying stages of the post-secondary experience. Through this online resource, we would like to help you connect with other Inuit who have already been to college or university. By sharing their stories, accomplishments and advice, we truly hope you will be inspired by their journeys and learn from their experiences, which was compiled to support you along your own post-secondary journey.
